  6. This file MUST be in your "CONFIGFILES" Directory and called DIZ.CFG
  7. the afterup.rexx file must be in the MEBBSNEY:Arexx directory.

  10. You MUST be using Mebbsnet 1.54 or Higher
  11.  
  12. You MUST use the new DMS by PARCON software (2.04+..extracts
  13.  
  14. FILE_ID.DIZ's from DMS archives)
  15.  
  16. You must have all the archivers listed somewhere in your current path

  20. This little Gizmo extracts the FILE_ID.DIZ from archives and postd
  21. them in the long description..

  25. The original code was written by Larry Cloud. It seemed to work for
  26. him for awhile and it then stopped working. I took on the task of
  27. continuing the project. Heres the changes that I made.
  28.  
  29. - Added a config file, so the arexx executable shouldn't have to be
  30.   touched
  31.  
  32. - Made the software case sensitive to detect upper/lower case files
  33.  
  34. - changed the processing directory to a seperate area to avoid
  35.   potential file deletion problems.
  36.  
  37. - Added DMS support
  38.  
  39. - modified the code to allow more than one line to SAFELY use the
  40.   script at the same time.
  41.  
  42. - Cleaned up a few of the prompts.

  44. *NOTE*
  45. This only works with MebbsNet vers 1.54+ is because I had to convince
  46. Bill to make a minor change to the BBS software. If this change
  47. results in problems in other areas I will most likely be burned at the
  48. stake <Grin>.

  53. LINE 1 - FULL PATH TO LONG DESCRIPTIONS AREA   THIS MUST BE THE
  54.          SAME AREA THAT IS USED BY THE SYSTEM FOR LONG DESCRIPTIONS!!!

  56. LINE 2 - PATH TO TEMPORARY UPLOAD DIRECTORY AS DEFINED IN MEBBSCONFIG
  57.          (THE AREA WHERE ALL THE "TMP" DIRECTORYS EXIST)
  58.  
  59. LINE 3 - PATH WHERE THE ARCHIVERS WILL DO THEIR PROCESSING YOU MUST CREATE
  60.          THIS AREA IT CAN EVEN BE IN RAM..I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT A
  61.          DIRECTORY IS CREATED SPECIALLY FOR THIS.
